Return to the Table of Contents Historical NoteFaculty meetings have been held regularly and minutes have been recorded by the secretary at Mount Holyoke since 1896. All monthly meetings are scheduled to be open, but may be deemed closed by a vote of the attendants. Presently, one hundred voting members constitutes a quorum. Records in the way of minutes must be kept of all proceedings. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and Contents of the CollectionThe records include original notebooks of minutes (1896-1899), acid free copies of early minutes (1899-1928), and original minutes and agendas (1899-). Information includes business transactions of the College, summaries of reports given by administrative offices and faculty committees, announcements, records of attendants, and records of all other discussion.
