Weaver, Professor of Chemistry at Mount Holyoke College. Initially it was funded by the National Science Foundation and then by the General Electic Foundation. This tuition-free program was designed to re-train women in chemical instrumentation during a two-week long summer session. Approximately 20 women participated each year.
