Biographical NoteCynthia Mirandia Abram was born on June 3, 1835 in Parishville, New York to Margaret Haslem and William Abram. She attended Mount Holyoke Seminary from 1859-60 (x-Class of 1862), and married Cyrus Stafford in 1861. She taught at St. Lawrence Academy in Potsdam, New York, and in the local school in Auburn, Oregon. She died on March 24, 1863, in Auburn.
