Biographical NoteLouise M. Richards was born on April 21, 1838. In 1859 she married Austin L. Shumway. They had nine children, including Sara Shumway Sibley and Priscilla Shumway Scott. Louise Shumway died on October 15, 1922. Priscilla Shumway was born on June 24, 1881 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1906, and married Harry Fisher Scott on June 15, 1910. Harry Scott died in 1960, and Priscilla Shumway Scott died in 1962.
