Biographical NoteIda Louise Jackson was born on 12 Oct 1902 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. She earned a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1922, a M.A. in 1923, and completed Ph.D. coursework at the Teachers College of Columbia University. She was a te acher and administrator.
