Biographical Note

Notes for lecture to teacher training classes for the blind on the study of music notation in the Perkins' Lower School; given March 2, 1956

Eleanor Wiley Thayer was born in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1906. She graduated from Smith College in 1929, then taught music at Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, Mass., a position she held from 1929 to 1971. She died in 1990.
