545 |aRichard Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983) was an American architect, systems theorist, author, designer, inventor, and futurist. Fuller was the son of Richard Buckminster Fuller and Caroline Wolcott Andrews. He attended, but was expelled from Harvard College. Buckminster Fuller was a descendant of transcendentalist Margaret Fuller and also of Unitarian clergyman Arthur Buckminster Fuller.
